Asheville On Bikes

Riding All the Way!

Hello all. So we’ve got some exciting updates for ya.

Marshall Siler is about to ride 2,000 miles in an effort to raise money for Asheville City Schools Foundation by raising $10,000 to support equity and excellence in Asheville City Schools. He’s got some miles ahead of him and we wish him the best and encourage anyone with the means to help Marshall on his way.

We’ve got Clips of Faith coming up here soon so get ready for some great beer, flicks, and bikes! All proceeds go to AoB to do bicycle related work in our city. Thanks in advance New Belgium!
So mark your calendars and if you don’t we’ll remind you anyways. Friday September 7th at Roger McGuire Park in downtown Asheville. The gates will open at 7:30 and the films will begin showing at dark. The selected films include comedic shorts, adventure documentaries, and music animation. Admission is free! Food and beer will be available for cash only.

The weather has been great the past few days, so I hope you guys and gals have been able to get in some rides. Tonight and tomorrow are the last days of the Perseid meteor shower as well. A nice excuse for a night ride…

Ride safe, ride often, have fun.
