About the Ride & Route

Asheville on Bikes rides roll at a conversational pace, follow the rules of the road, and uplift the safety and dignity of our streets, bike lanes, greenways, and trails. Throughout the ride, the group adjusts the pace to ensure all participants feel included and welcome.

Saturday’s ride is 10 miles with approximately 1,000 feet of climbing. The route includes Beaucatcher Trail—a rugged natural surface trail with sweeping views of the city—and incorporates a mix of active city streets, neighborhood slow streets, and greenways.

Before attending, participants are encouraged to preview the route to ensure it’s a good fit.
