Get In Gear Fest ‘26

Roll into the 11th Annual Get In Gear Fest at New Belgium Brewing (21 Craven St) on Saturday, April 25th.

AoB is hosting a pre-event community ride, a bicycle valet, and pop-up bike park as part of the event. 

Schedule 

11 am – Ride Gathers at New Belgium Brewing

11:30 pm – Ride Departs New Belgium Brewing 

12 pm – 5 pm  Get in Gear Fest Opens

 12:30 pm – Ride returns 

About Get in Gear Fest Community Ride

There are two route options to choose from: 

Ride More rolls through the River Arts District, West Asheville neighborhoods, and downtown Asheville before climbing to explore Beaucatcher Mountain’s natural surface trail in the East End/Valley Street neighborhood. The ride finishes back at New Belgium Brewing in time to enjoy the 11th Annual Get In Gear Festival.

Cruiser climbs into West Asheville neighborhoods from New Belgium Brewing and rolls through the River Arts District before returning to the brewing for the Festival. 

Know Before You Ride

  • Sign the Waiver 
  • Preview & Download the Routes
  • Wear a helmet 
  • The routes include active city streets, neighborhood roads, climbs and descents, and natural surface trails. 
  • Participants are expected to obey all traffic laws while they ride. 

About Pop-up Bike Park

Roll in and ride! AoB Pop-Up Parks turn event spaces into a bike playground just for kids. Packed with fun features to test balance and build confidence, it’s the perfect place for young riders to play and improve their skills. Don’t forget your bike and helmet—and be ready to follow park marshal directions.

Know Before You Go

  1. Sign the Waiver 
  2. Parents and guardians should remain in close proximity to the park while their children ride. 
  3. Participants must wear a helmet.
  4. Participants must follow AoB bike marshalls’ direction while participating. 

About Bike Valets 

Ride in, check it, and go play! Our bike valet makes arriving by bike a breeze. Just hand your bike off to a friendly AoB attendant, grab your claim ticket, and enjoy the event while we keep your ride safe and sound. When you’re ready to head out, show your ticket and roll away—simple as that.
