  • 6:30pm – Ride culminates at Downtown After 5

Celebrate National Bike to Work Day and help kick off Strive Not to Drive Week with Roll Outta Work—a relaxed, community bike ride through the heart of Asheville.

This laid-back urban ride meanders through downtown and the historic Montford neighborhood before rolling into the evening’s destination: Downtown After 5.




After the ride, park your bike at Asheville on Bikes’ convenient bike valet—sponsored by Dewey Property Advisors—and stick around to enjoy the music, food, and festivities.

  • The route is approximately 6 miles, featuring a mix of active city streets and slower neighborhood roads.

  • This is a free, public event—all are welcome.
  • E-bikes are welcome!
  • Please sign the waiver in advance to help speed up check-in.
