You should take the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority (TDA) Survey! As part of their re-imagining process for considering how the tourism tax is spent, the TDA is gathering feedback from the community.
Wouldn’t it be great if TDA funds were used regularly, every year to build or improve multi-modal projects in Asheville? AoB is encouraged that the TDA has invested in both the River Arts District Transportation Improvement Plan and The Woodfin Greenway / Blueway and we want to continue to advocate for increased funding for our area’s active transportation needs.
As you take the survey, here are the two most important things to do:
- Make biking, walking and transit stand out as high priorities
- Include personal anecdotes and stories wherever the survey allows extra information from you. Don’t fly through the survey without including your extra anecdotes, because it is your comments and extras that will stand out.
